This journey of life has many twist and turns, are you recording them to remember and reflect?

Our wooden journals allow you to completely customise the front with any wording, and then inside, record the ups and downs of any journey.

2 designs on offer:

One is completely line paper, ready for you to write away. 70 pages are lined

The other has ONE PAGE with space for photos and writing, followed by 3 lined pages

One WITH a plastic keepsake envelope in back

Our completely Australian made book is etched, cut, sanded, packaged and made with love in our North Queensland studio. Its unique wooden cover and back make it a special keepsake.

Specifications:

Laser carved on a quality 3mm timber + large white coil means you can load your book with photos + special keepsakes and it will still close
70 minimalistic + gender neutral pages (front and back) are thick matte 190gsm, ensuring when writing, its not visible on the reverse side. Pages are A4 in size, cover and back are slightly bigger to help protect the pages.
2 designs, one with just lined paper and the other with room for photos every 4th page. Each comes with a front page.
IMPORTANT: Every single book will look different with the grain, etch depth, colouring (you may see small black or yellow marks) and this is what makes it so unique! You are buying this product because you love its raw, natural look! Do not leave your book in direct sunlight or leave standing upright. Keeping your book flat will help with warping!
EXTRAS AVAILABLE: you can choose to add some special extras for your journal like handmade cotton bag, or a plastic keepsake sleeve.

Hello Fern offers FREE SHIPPING on orders within Australia and a flat rate of $10 for all New Zealand orders. Currently, we do not ship to any other countries.

Hello Fern is based in Central/North Queensland.
We use Australia Post to deliver our packages.

HOW WILL MY PACKAGE BE SENT?

Orders with discs, plaques, stickers, bookmarks, ornaments, or inkless print kits will be sent as a large letter with no tracking and will only be delivered to a letterbox or a PO box (no parcel collection or hand delivery to your front door).
All other orders will be sent as packages with tracking. You will be sent tracking details once your order has been despatched. Please check your junk folder for this email.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY PACKAGE TO ARRIVE?

We wish we could hand-deliver every package, but once packages are handed to Australia Post, we have no control over the speed of your delivery.

No Tracking: Please allow 4-14 business days for your package to arrive.
With Tracking: Please allow 3-7 business days for your package to arrive.
Express Added: Please allow 1-4 business days for your package to arrive.

EXCHANGES

Hello Fern will not accept exchanges due to change of mind or for accidentally ordering the incorrect item.

Hello Fern will however endeavour to help clients in the rare case that your item is faulty.

Our products are natural wooden products; therefore no two products will look the same. There will be some imperfections in laser work due to to the natural nature of the product including dark grain with light etching, dark lines, knots, and varying colours in the timber. By purchasing, you acknowledge this and understand that no refunds or exchanges will be issued for a change of mind.

As the artists and designers of our products, we will design each item to the highest standard and in a way that best suits the product, font(s) and letters chosen for customisation.

We do not hold any responsibility for any spelling or grammatical errors given to us; however, if we are unsure, we will reach out to you via email. We ask that you please read descriptions carefully before purchasing.
