This book is designed for single parents, step-parent families, surrogate, adoptive and foster families as well as those parents who don't wish to go by the traditional 'Mum' and 'Dad' names and gender roles.

Please read the description of our original 'Your Story' book for general details on the book. This listing is only for our inclusive family book with the below changes made to suit different families:

There is no table of contents or page numbers, making it possible to pull any pages that do not suit your family.
Any parent pronouns have been removed (like 'we' when speaking about family).
Instead of 'All about your mum/dad' we have left the name section of this free. It has two sections for two parents but one section can be pulled from the book, perfect for amazing single parents.
PLEASE NOTE: We do still include a family tree and Mother’s/Father’s Day as these pages are still suitable for some families. Those who do not celebrate these days with other family members can remove the pages or cover them with photos, clippings, or drawings.
Much love and care has been used to create this book. Please respect that this book might not suit all families, but we have made this with nothing but love and kindness in mind.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND WHO DO YOU SHIP WITH?

Hello Fern is based in Central/North Queensland.
We use Australia Post to deliver our packages.

HOW WILL MY PACKAGE BE SENT?

Orders with discs, plaques, stickers, bookmarks, ornaments, or inkless print kits will be sent as a large letter with no tracking and will only be delivered to a letterbox or a PO box (no parcel locker or hand delivery to your front door).
All other orders will be sent as packages with tracking. You will be sent tracking details once your order has been despatched. Please check your junk folder for this email.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY PACKAGE TO ARRIVE?

We wish we could hand-deliver every package, but once packages are handed to Australia Post, we have no control over the speed of your delivery.

No Tracking: Please allow 4-14 business days for your package to arrive.
With Tracking: Please allow 3-7 business days for your package to arrive.
Express Added: Please allow 1-4 business days for your package to arrive.

EXCHANGES

Hello Fern will not accept exchanges due to change of mind or for accidentally ordering the incorrect item.

Hello Fern will however endeavour to help clients in the rare case that your item is faulty.

Our products are natural wooden products; therefore no two products will look the same. There will be some imperfections in laser work due to to the natural nature of the product including dark grain with light etching, dark lines, knots, and varying colours in the timber. By purchasing, you acknowledge this and understand that no refunds or exchanges will be issued for a change of mind.

As the artists and designers of our products, we will design each item to the highest standard and in a way that best suits the product, font(s) and letters chosen for customisation.

We do not hold any responsibility for any spelling or grammatical errors given to us; however, if we are unsure, we will reach out to you via email. We ask that you please read descriptions carefully before purchasing.
