Description
A charming set of three personalised wooden brushes in a flawed keepsake box, each with unique imperfections such as minor flaws in the wood or uneven bristles. While these imperfections do not affect the functionality of the brushes, they add a touch of character, making each set one-of-a-kind. Perfect for use from birth, these brushes are still a wonderful keepsake, now with a story of their own.
- 'Flawed' brushes are still beautifully made, but they may contain cosmetic flaws such as (but not limited to) one or more of the following: indents or lines in the timber, discolouration in the timber, marks on the timber, rough edges, glue marks, uneven or missing bristles, etc. Most flaws are minor and difficult to notice.
- All 'flawed' brushes are structurally in-tact.
- All 'flawed' brush sets come with a flawed keepsake box only (bags are unavailable for flawed sets).
- 'Flawed' keepsake boxes are still a beautiful way to store your brush set and the box still functions properly; however, the boxes will contain flaws such as (but not limited to) one or more of the following: indents, creases, small tears, worn corners, warped, crushed & etching imperfections, etc.
*We cannot guarantee how the custom etching will turn out on our flawed brushes as the imperfections in the wood may interfere with the etch; however, we will do our best to ensure your brushes are still a beautiful keepsake to cherish for years to come. Please do not purchase if you are looking for a 'perfect factory-made brush or brush set'. Our non-flawed custom brush sets can be found here.
Specifications:
- BRUSH ONE: soft goat hair bristle brush, suitable for newborns. Light beechwood in colour. 18cm x 7cm approx
- BRUSH TWO: soft wooden bristle massage brush is a beautiful way to massage your little ones scalp. Light beechwood in colour. 18cm x 7cm approx. The small hole in the brush is not a flaw, it is to allow air to escape when massaging the scalp.
- BRUSH THREE: wooden comb, more suited to toddlers or babies with hair. Helps release small knots softly with this wooden comb teeth. These differ in colour between each box. Sometimes light, sometimes darker. Approx 14.8cm x 4.3cm

KEEPSAKE BOX: All sets are presented in a flawed keepsake box with MY FIRST BRUSH SET etched on top. Boxes may contain imperfections, but will still function properly to contain the brush set.
- FONT: Please ensure you select which font you would like and write child's name in the box provided above. Longer names are fine to have on our brushes, but please be aware that it may mean the font is slightly smaller to allow them to fit. As the artist, you trust us to make the best choices for each design.
*By proceeding with your order, you acknowledge that products may contain unique imperfections in the timber and laser work due to the nature of the product. This is not considered a fault, but rather a reflection of the unique natural beauty of the materials we use. You agree and understand that each piece may look different including (but not limited to) the wood grain, etch depth, and colouring (you may see small black, blue or yellow marks), which is what makes it so unique.

Hello Fern offers flat rate shipping of $10 Australia-wide and free shipping on orders of $150 and over. Express options are also available if required.
DELIVERY TO NEW ZEALAND
Hello Fern offers flat rate shipping of $15 AUD to New Zealand. Express options are also available if required.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SENT OUT?
- Orders with non-custom products only: 1-2 business days
- Any order with a custom product: 1-3 weeks
- Some custom products qualify for a 2-5 business day turnaround time. These products are marked with a blue ‘fast order processing symbol’ (
) - Mixed orders will ship according to the longest item processing time.
- Hello Fern is based in Mackay, Queensland.
- We use Australia Post to deliver our packages.
HOW WILL MY PACKAGE BE SENT?
All orders will be sent as packages with tracking. You will be sent tracking details once your order has been despatched. Please check your junk folder for this email.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY PACKAGE TO ARRIVE?
We wish we could hand-deliver every package, but once packages are handed to Australia Post, we have no control over the speed of your delivery.
- Standard Post: Please allow 3-7 business days for your package to arrive.
- Express Added: Please allow 1-4 business days for your package to arrive.
UNCLAIMED PACKAGES
If a parcel is returned to Hello Fern due to being unclaimed or not collected by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees required to resend the package. Refunds will not be provided for unclaimed orders.
ADDRESS DETAILS
Please ensure that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate and complete. Hello Fern is not responsible for any delays, lost packages, or additional shipping fees that may result from an incorrect or incomplete address entered by the customer.
EXCHANGES
Hello Fern will not accept exchanges due to change of mind or for accidentally ordering the incorrect item.
Hello Fern will however endeavour to help clients in the rare case that your item is faulty.
Our products are natural wooden products; therefore no two products will look the same. There will be some imperfections in laser work due to the natural nature of the product including dark grain with light etching, dark lines, knots, and varying colours in the timber. By purchasing, you acknowledge this and understand that no refunds or exchanges will be issued for a change of mind.
PERSONALISATION
As the artists and designers of our products, we will design each item to the highest standard and in a way that best suits the product, font(s) and letters chosen for customisation.
We do not hold any responsibility for any spelling or grammatical errors given to us; however, if we are unsure, we will reach out to you via email. We ask that you please read descriptions carefully before purchasing.
SAFETY
Hello Fern is not responsible for the misuse of our products. Please supervise children at all times when using our products. Aside from the rattle, our products are not toys and are not suitable for children under the age of three.
